In this lesson we reflect on three women in John's gospel: Martha (John 11:17-27), The Samaritan woman (John 4:1-38), and Mary Magdalene (John 20:1-18). All three of these women appear in key moments in John's gospel as he seeks to achieve his objective, "that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name."
